Embalming combines the sanitation and preservation of the body. The aim is to return a more natural appearance and to prevent the spread of bacteria and advancement of deterioration. This will ensure that should there be any delay in the performance of the funeral service that the body will be preserved.
Prior to the ceremony the deceased can repose in the hospital/nursing home mortuary, our funeral home, or a family residence.
